Dr. Seuss Baby Shower

March 7th 2013

WOW!!
Thank You, Thank You to Rebecca Coxson and Sarah Lazane!!!
These two amazing friends threw me a baby shower and it was so fun. We decided on a Dr. Seuss theme and they just ran with it.
Beware there are a lot a pics...

Jax pretty much just had a ball playing with all the kids there, but his favorite was the trampoline.
I think there were as many kiddos there as adults, which worked out perfect with the beautiful day and Sarah's backyard and play room. I'm glad it turned into a baby shower/play date.

Big Thanks to all those who came and to those how helped us to get ready for our Tossey 2!

Layla Sessions helped to show off all the sssooo cute clothes we were spoiled to get.

I loved all the decorations but everyone was asking about these pictures! Jax's wonderful Aunt Laura had these made for Jax's room and they are still a hit.

Unfortunately this is the closest to a picture I got with Becca (Rebecca Coxson). I felt so bad, she did so much to set up the baby shower and she woke up sick that morning and didn't even get to enjoy the party. She made this beautiful and soft blanket...she's so talented!

We thought is was pretty funny how Becca, Sarah and I are all pregnant. Becca is about 4 months, Sarah is about 6 1/2 and I'm 8 months along.

Katlyn is Becca's sister who was a big help running the party and rounding up kids in Becca's place.

Becca made these truffula trees, like I said she's so talented!

 The boys...being boys!

 I absolutely love this shirt!

Thank you Thank you to all who came and/or helped!!!!

Battery and Patriot's Point in Charleston

Battery
12 February 2013
The Battery in Downtown Charleston is one of our favorite places to go when we want to get out. So that's what we did on one of Aaron's days off. It's just an open grassy area right on the bay surrounded by war memorials and old cannons.
Jax running through a puddle he found.
This gazebo sits right in the middle of the Battery and in the spring and fall when the weather is so nice there are weddings here almost every day.

We stayed just until it rained us out.

Cookies
18 February 2013
Aaron still has his cookies most every night, and if Jax is still awake he gets in on the action too!

Patriot's Point Naval Maritime Museum
21 February 2013

At the museum they have the
USS Yorktown - aircraft carrier
USS Laffey - destroyer
USS Clamagor - submarine
and we were able to tour them all, it was really neat!

Jax was fascinated with these red lights

They had planes from different times and wars aboard the carrier

3 February 2013
31 Weeks
Yep! 7 months down... 2 more to go!

We rediscovered bubbles and Jax, like most kids, loves 'em!

So Jax will not say Mama or Dada, this is all we get...

H.L. Hunley

5 January 2013
I was able to find on Groupon a great deal to go and see the H.L. Hunley!
The Hunley is famous for being the first submarine to successfully sink a ship during the Civil War.
You're not allowed to film/photo the actual Hunley, but this is us in a replica that is %10 larger.

Jax was fussy most of the tour, guess it was too close to nap time.
