Battery and Patriot's Point in Charleston

Battery
12 February 2013
The Battery in Downtown Charleston is one of our favorite places to go when we want to get out. So that's what we did on one of Aaron's days off. It's just an open grassy area right on the bay surrounded by war memorials and old cannons.
Jax running through a puddle he found.
This gazebo sits right in the middle of the Battery and in the spring and fall when the weather is so nice there are weddings here almost every day.

We stayed just until it rained us out.

Aaron still has his cookies most every night, and if Jax is still awake he gets in on the action too!

At the museum they have the
USS Yorktown - aircraft carrier
USS Laffey - destroyer
USS Clamagor - submarine
and we were able to tour them all, it was really neat!
