I had joked with Aaron and my Mom that I was going to go into labor while sitting at the airport waiting for my Mom to land...and that's what happened! As I was sitting in the "cell phone waiting area" at 5:15 I began to feel my first contractions! So I helped Mom in the van and told her that I think I'm going into labor and that she got here just in time! So me made it back to the house and I called Aaron from work and we headed to the hospital. Leaving Mom there to make dinner and put my kids to bed.
I guess I'm just in for long labors because all of mine have been 13+ hrs. Also I should just come into the hospital with a list something like this...
Yes I want an
epidural and I'll take it when I can get it (judge all you want, I'm a sissy ;)
I get
sick so I'll need something to dispose of that. but this and this and this medication doesn't work.
I get
heartburn so if you could get me some tums ready that would be great.
My
contractions get harder and longer as I go along but they stay further apart.
And be ready for a
long labor.
I have
big babies (9.1 8.1 and 8.5)
and it doesn't take long for me to
push. (it took one push with each of my kids)
Well it's a girl! Ashlyn Esther.
She's named after her Great-Grandmother Esther Tossey (Aaron's Dad's Mother)
The kids love her already and have been doing really well! Jordyn is always trying to cover her with her blanket. Both ask to hold her all the time.
Jax was so funny. So anytime and every time I would ask Jax if Mommy was going to have a girl or a boy Jax would always say girl. So when I was still in labor Sunday morning on the 15th my Mom took Jax and Jordyn to church. She had everyone asking about us. Well anytime someone asked Jax if he had a new baby sibling he would tell them that he had a new sister. We actually got a txt from one of our friends congratulating us saying "Jax says he has a new sister, congrats." lol Aaron just texted back saying that we're still waiting but thanks!
ps he says we're have a boy next...haha
