Aaron and a 3-on-3 Tournament up on Base, they placed 3rd and came home with a cash win, $12! I always enjoy watching Aaron play ball.

I think he's had that shirt since he was 10 or 11 years old.

Jax was given some toys from his Great Grandma Hoer and we love them! Thanks Grandma! We were surprised at how well he caught on and can put them on in order.

So Jax is learning how to dance! Christen Reyes (Aaron's coworker and friend) was teaching him one night. He also know's how to give high 5s now! He's so cool!

I absolutely LOVE Jax's wave.

We went to a firework show at Patriot's Point because last year's show was so good there. We were a bit disappointed because there was no band or music synced with the fireworks like last years and they didn't shoot them off the Yorktown (aircraft carrier). Everything was moved onto the Yorktown and you had to buy tickets...lame! But we still had a good time and Aaron got some pretty cool pictures with our camera.

Our first firework show was at Marrington Plantation (June 30) here in the Naval Weapon's base. We also went to a firework show (7 July) out were Aaron is working (Short Stay) and got to watch them from the boat, also pretty cool. There was a DJ there and we heard someone referring to Aaron as the "dancing guy" after we did some country swing to a few songs.

So over all we went to 3 firework shows and Aaron's made his briquet so we enjoyed our Independence Day celebrations!

Tamra's Gator

So this post is all about me, yep! My goal when we first moved here was to see a wild alligator and I did it!

This gator was 56 inches long. But Bob the grounds guy catches them when they get in the pond. We had been watching this one for about a week and I had just gotten home from institute and Bob pulled up to show em to me. They actually had the gator in the cab of the truck...crazy southcaroliniers! I would have had Jax touch it be he was asleep, oh well next time!

Summer

Summer! We were so glad we were able to stay here in Charleston for the summer, and it has been fun!

SSSOOOO CUTE! Just hanging out in the trunk, and look at those eyes...

So for "Grad Hold" Aaron is lucky enough to "work" out at Short Stay. He helps at the boat shop and gets access to the boats/gear for free, all we have to do is pay for gas. So after not boating for about 5 years we now go about twice a week. It has been so fun and I now know how to drive the boat!

While we were boating at Lake Altus Aaron tried learning how to knee board. Since then he's gotten a lot better, you should see him now Dad!

Toilet Paper

So Jax's favorite things to do while in the bathroom is pull on the toilet paper...

The other is to play in the toilet water, now that he knows how to lift the lid. Sometimes he'll have one hand under the lid while the other is pressing down on top of the lid. I guess he's trying to get his hand out?

Phillip's Visit Charleston

We were so excited Steve & Susan Philips stopped by to see us on there way home to Texas. They took their daughter Catie to Disney World to start her job at one of their restaurants...poor girl ;0)
