Grandpa Tossey Visits Charleston

31 May 2014
Ira Tossey (Grandpa) came to visit us for a few days at the end of May and we where excited to have him! I wouldn't have paid for this ride :)

 2 June 2014
This is us hanging out waiting while Ira and Aaron went shooting.

 Jordyn's little curls
Oh how I love his sleepy little boy

 River Front Park
This is the old Navy Base in North Charelston. It's a really neat little park.

This was the Naval Base that Ira actually worked at when he was in the Navy here in Charleston

This lady started getting nervous when Jax started climbing the rails. I'm sure everyone around us thinks I'm a carless mom......oh well!

This is the Submarine that Aaron is hoping to get stationed to when we leave Charelston.

Our attempt to look like the statue.

Fishing and Boating

28 May 2014
So Aaron has been so excited about his new boat! and can I say I think Jax is just about as excited as his Daddy! Oh my! After his first trip our with Aaron on the  boat he has yet to stop talking about it. Then Dad took it a step up and got Jax a fishing pole and oh how he loves it. Now all I hear him say it. "Go on boat, see alligators." and him asking where his fishing pole is. "Fishing Pole?" Even if the boat is not in the water Jax likes to climb in it and work on his cast, and can I say...he's getting pretty good!
My little fisherman!

29 May 2014
So we've been asking Jordyn to fold her arms for prayers and this is her waiting for her food. It was so cute!!!
Then of course she saw me getting out the camera. I think my kids have the best smiles!!!

30 May 2014
And of course the blanket. Jordyn has always liked her soft things but every time we go to get her from her crib we pick her up then you should expect to hear a grunt for her blanket, and if she has more than one she will want them all. She'll then drag them around the house for the next little while.

Myrtle Beach

Anniversary Trip to Myrtle Beach, SC
21 May 2014
A Big THANK YOU to Aaron's Mom and her boyfriend Doug for coming to SC to watch our munchkins while we took a 2 night trip to Myrtle Beach for our 4 year anniversary. It was so good to get a way. But just incase anyone was wondering there are no volleyball nets set up on the beach and there are no places to go country dancing there...lame. But we just enjoyed eating some good food, shopping the stores and relaxing on the beach.

Gatsby Party

Gatsby Party
10 May 2014
Our friend Amy Layne threw a surprise "Gatsby" party honoring her husband Aleks Layne to celebrate his homecoming from deployment and finishing his Masters. It was sssoooo much fun! We where so excited to go dancing and spend the night with some of our friends, we even got a babysitter!

It was so fun to go dancing again!
I just want to say how much I love dancing with this guy. Not only is he a good dancer but he also knows how to just let it go and have fun.

May Fun

1 May 2014
We are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends here in Charleston. The kiddos found a lizard on the porch one afternoon that kept them entertained for a while. So fun watching them experience new things and discover the world around them!

 Jax and Callaway

5 May 2014
We went to the beach one morning and this is the crew after we got back. They had too much fun.

15 May 2014
Jordyn has started eating like crazy! I really think she eats as much as I do! Anytime anyone is eating she is all over it. This girl can put away 3 squares of a 4 square waffle to give you an idea of how much she eats (and these waffles are 1/2 whole wheat)! The only down side is she is starting to get picky and won't eat her veggies anymore where as before she was ate everything.

11 May 2014
Mother's day! This is the first Sunday I could get Jax to wear his vest but he loves that tie. He get's to be like Daddy.
Oh and can I say I LOVE HAND-ME-DOWNS! Everything the kids are wearing where given to us including my shirt and shoes! Thx Elizabeth, Savanna, Suzan, Shayla, Jennifer and Laura for letting us sport your clothes a little longer!

18 May 2014
This on the other hand is not a hand-me-down. I took a class with a friend in my ward who taught  class on knit fabrics and I made this red skirt. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Now we'll see if  I can sew more knits.
ps just don't make a mistake... it takes forever to seam rip :(
