Man oh man! This was our first trip to Texas from Virginia and boy was it long! 18 hrs to Pittsburg, TX. I think what made it worse for me was just knowing we weren't even there yet and we would have to drive back...gross.

We spent a whole day in Pittsburg just hanging out. We went out to the land and fished a little and had a picnic. It was hot and muggy, but we can always count on catching a least one fish out there. I didn't have my camera, so I missed the fish but Jax was excited. Like his Daddy he has been asking to go fishing for a while.
Later that night Aaron made steaks for everyone at the Phillips and Melinda and Ira came out as well.
We had a good time visiting and even preformed our skit for the Keys reunion just to practice. They seemed to enjoy it and the kids did a good job.
My attempt at trying get a photo real quick before everyone went home. Ashlyn was so cute grabbing Grandpa's leg.
