Bahamas Cruise

Bahama Cruise
18 Feb 2016
Need I say more! It was so fun, I've never been on a cruise and Aaron hasn't been since he was 12. I love my kids but it was great to just be Aaron and me for a few days. Favorite check off our bucket list for Charleston.

Special thanks to Grandma Hoer for the material she gave me I used it to make this dress for the formal night, I decided I wanted to make a dress (mainly because I didn't want to spend money on a new one, haha) even though others had told me it didn't have to be formal just nice. That and cause I like seeing my man all dressed up. He even let me take pictures with him, and if you know Aaron this is a big deal, he does not like pictures.
I even got Aaron up on stage before a show started, if you look hard you can see him in a black wig, haha!!! hey they asked for a big strong man so I pointed him out.

Nassau Bahamas
One of the things the Bahamas is known for is Pirates and Aaron really wanted to do something pirate related, and we happened upon this museum, pretty neat!

I loved the water, it was so blue!!! beautiful!
"Blinded by the light!" (I don't know how I kept my eyes open for this pic!)
We found a volleyball net and played a bit but it was kinda windy and the players we picked up may have been a little buzzed...
Later that night there was a military appreciation we attended, this is Aaron on stage in the back.

I just had to take this picture. Aaron and I where craving different things, Me: burger and fries, Aaron: fruit and salad...is there something wrong with this pictures?
Every night of the cruise Aaron and I wanted to go country dancing, but there wasn't really any dance floor anywhere, so we just made due dancing anywhere we heard country music. By the end of the cruise I think people recognized us as "that" couple and we had many complements and even on the last night an officer of the ship saw us dancing and brought us both a trophy and medal saying how we definitely deserved them.
A five day cruise was just perfect for us! We loved every minute but by the time the boat cruised back into the port at Charleston we missed our kids and were ready to see them again.
