Part 1 Hoer Family

Well, we packed up our new Honda Odyssey and hit the road hard for 4 days strait of driving! We were excited for Aaron's leave of about 3 weeks!

Friday 26 June 2015
First night we stopped on the other side of Atlanta, all of us squeezed into one King size bed...needless to say we didn't sleep wonderful. Sleeping next to Jordyn I woke to her kicking me in the face and later to her diaper leaking on the bed next to me...so fun!

Then we had a pitstop on the Mississippi boarder looking over the river to Louisiana.

I love how cute these two are to each other sometimes

On Saturday night we stayed at the Christensen's home in Pittsburg, TX and pick up the keys to the cabin in Colorado where they let us stay a few days. Then we drove on to Childress.

Sunday 28 June 2015
we got up early and made it to Amarillo in time for sacrament meeting and ran into some old friends the Lovett's. Then we headed on to CO!

While at the cabin Aaron and Dad fished the whole time and Kaden joined them one day.

On our way to the Hoer (said "Hur) Family Reunion we stopped at this little store and it had some really neat things.

We also stopped at this lake 11 miles outside of Boulder where Dad and one or two of my Uncles where fishing one day, where on their way back and their Volkswagen Bug died. There where able to push it just far enough that they were able to coast 11 miles into Boulder were they rolled into a gas station and called Grandpa Hoer to come get them.

This is Aaron getting his line stuck the only bush/tree in the lake, haha!

On the first day in Boulder we went up to Round-top were Grandma Hoer would help the boy scouts ever year in raising the flag on the 4th of July.

We rented a tour bus and drove all over Boulder while my Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles narrated fun stories and history from when they grew up.

...and then the bus broke down....

...so we stopped for lunch and let the kids play at a nearby park.

Don't worry we still had our firework show, we went to the Colorado University Football Stadium and the show was great! they were delayed and I was afraid we wouldn't get to see a show but after a little delay it started. I was afraid about how Ashlyn would react to the loud fireworks, but she did great! I think she really liked them.

I can't say enough about these wonderful people. My grandparents are amazing! It's been almost 4 years since I've seen them last.

So I was terrible and forgot to get a picture of the whole family with Grandma and Grandpa but I did remember before I left. We sent the boys home early so that Dad could get back to work.
