Christmas Letter 2012

Merry Christmas!
Our rundown of the year...
We started the year off by moving to our 5th home near Aaron’s training in the Greenslake Condominiums, and we really like were we are living.

Jax is such a boy, I think that is the best way of expressing his energy and interests at this point. He was walking at 8 1/2 months and since he’s learned to crawl he hasn’t stopped moving. He loves balls, cars, airplanes, animals, being outside and is growing, growing, growing! He is now in the 97th and 95th percentiles for height and weight.

Aaron completed his second phase of training they call Power School back in May. He graduated with Distinctions and was more than happy to get that part of the training finished.

We enjoyed the summer by spending time at Aaron’s “Grad Hold” job out at a lake near by and went skiing almost every week. I was able to hold my first live alligator that was about 5 feet long and Jax celebrated his 1st birthday in August.

On Aaron’s 26th birthday we announced that we’re expecting another little one to our family next April and they tell us it’s a girl. We could not be more excited!

Aaron had the opportunity to go gator hunting with a friend from church and killed a 10 ft. 8 in. alligator. He loved it and wants to put in for a tag of his own next year.

Church has had us busy with our callings. I’ve been called to the Primary Chorister and spend about 1 hour every Sunday teaching songs to children ages 18 months to 11 years old.  Aaron was asked to work as the Young Men’s President which had him super busy doing lessons on Sunday, meetings for the youth and scouts on Wednesdays, Saturday activities, summer events like conferences and anything in-between. He has just been released due to his work schedule not allowing him to be at meetings. He is half way through his 3rd and final stage of training here in Charleston and can not wait till it is over!

We miss all of you so much and hope you enjoy this season and are spending it with the ones you love. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

“May we each discover anew the Christmas spirit - even the Spirit of Christ.”
 Pres. Thomas S. Monson

With Love,
Aaron, Tamra and Jackson Tossey
