Texas Trip Part 1

Leesburg Texas

 YEAH!! we finally got some good time off! So of course we loaded up and headed to TEXAS! we spent the first part of our trip in East Texas

Jax had chocolate milk every day at Grandma's store and had a blast feeding and playing with the minos

This may be the last time we come to Leesburg General Store while Melinda owns it. She's planning on selling it this summer. We're sad to see it go but happy that Melinda won't have to work so many long hard hours.

Then we spend a couple of days near Dallas in Argyle with the Austins in their new home. We got to meet Lincoln (Marvin, Danielle's son) for the first time and the boys seem to get along fine.

I think Aaron was tuckered out after helping with Christmas lights and taking care of the kids. I spent most of the time trying to get over an ear infection. It was just about gone when we left that next morning, amazing the miracles in our lives.

Aleisha Collins invited us to go the aquarium with their family so we jumped on it! Thanks again Aleisha!

 The aquarium was so fun. I love going to places that are made for children! There are play places and hands on things, benches everywhere and always a changing table in the restrooms!

 Laura (Aaron's sister) was asked to speak at the homecoming chapel for her alumni university SWU in Central, SC. Aaron could not make it because he had to stay behind and finish qualifying for staff. We missed him but were real glad we made it to see the Austins. I'm the worst! I left the camera on the big day on campus were they had bounce houses and the boys had a ball! oh well at least I'm getting a little better about taking pictures.

 They were nice enough to share their hotel room with us and we had a party!

Sunday Quiet Book

I am so excited about this book I made. I hope my kids are just as excited in sacrament. The front cover is a piece of a baby blanket that was mine but was falling apart, most of the rest of the book came from a play book that my Aunt Diane made for us kids when we were little a long time ago.
