Hurricane Matthew

When Hurricane Matthew hit the East Coast this month we where blessed to just get a lot of rain in our neighborhood. Some roads where flooded and they cancelled church that weekend. Our home in Charleston had very minimal damage (some siding blew off and a fence that was already falling came down).

Other's where not so lucking, Aaron was able to donate a weekend and drive down to Greensboro, North Carolina and help with the relief effort.

This was where Aaron and others camped out for the weekend while down in NC on a Stake Center's lawn.

 Aaron snapped this pic of this boat sitting on the side of the road, apparently during the flooding it was picked up, trailer and all, and moved to this location with the flood water.

Although we hate to loose any free time with Aaron I'm so grateful that Aaron was able to donate his weekend to help others less fortunate.

Jax was so excited to find a turtle, but was really sad when he left it on the porch (thinking he left it in the box) and he had crawled away. I guess they are faster than you think!

Dad was set on getting us a YMCA membership when he got home and the kids have loved it. We can go swimming anytime and I get a babysitter while I work out! win win!

About 21 weeks

First pictures of Tossey #4!!!

I think we built up the suspense too much asking the kids what they thought the baby would be because Jordyn was set on a sister and Jax was set on getting a brother, telling Jordyn you already have a sister! I want a brother!

He got sad when in the ultrasound room she told us it was a girl. Guess Jax and Daddy are just going to have to be real close.

Isle of Wight County Fair

Isle of Wight County Fair

 We thought it would be fun to go to the fair. Jordyn just wanted to ride the caracole the whole time and Jax like his Daddy could ride the roleercosters the whole time. Ashlyn wasn't so sure about all of it.

 I think everyone enjoyed the 4H shows and animals although the funnel cake was pretty good too.

Overall it was fun but we where really disappointed that the Ferris wheel was so overpriced and refused to pay that much.
